Well Finally!! Someone with Something Good to Say About Our Boy Theo Walcott!!

Kudos to Aidan Gibson for being probably the first football commentator to say something nice about Theo Walcott since probably the days of Robin Van Persie leading the line. Mapping Theo's evolution over his last three matches against Chelsea, Gibson goes through the Englishman's torturous attempts to regain top form, a path beset by anguish, injury and loss of direction, but finally expresses some sort of hope that, at long last, the Walcott that all us believers have been waiting for is finally arriving: Theo on fire. And there are glimpses of work rate, intent and confidence stoking belief again. Wenger's spent well, Arsenal are showing truly formidable offensive potential, defensive cohesion, work rate and solidity. Can they be consistent?

An attacking diamond of Ozil, Iwobi, Sanchez and Walcott, and a defensive one of Xhaka, Mustafi, Koscielny look like they'll present a formidable challenge to any opponent. A sort of MSN with two Messis. Could be fucking exciting.

Up next, Chelsea and then Basel in the Champions League, where Arsenal will certainly need Walcott at his best. Go Walcott!! Show us Theo on Fire!!
